Shirleen Lyman Quinn's Obituary
Shirleen Lyman Quinn, 91, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2025, in Midvale, Utah. She was born on July 16, 1934, in Milford, Utah.
On June 8, 1957, Shirleen married the love of her life, Gerald L. Quinn. Gerald worked for the Bureau of Land Management, and together they made homes and memories across Utah, Idaho, Oregon, and Montana. No matter where life took them, Shirleen’s warmth and laughter made every place feel like home.
She is survived by her children: Mark L. Quinn (Ellen), Margaret E. Chandler (Marty), and Marie Q. Henderson (Todd); her grandchildren Louis Chandler, Tristan Henderson, and Madalyn Henderson; and many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.
Shirleen was deeply devoted to her family and especially to her grandchildren, who were the joy of her life. She was involved in every part of their lives, always there to support, celebrate, and encourage them. Those who knew Shirleen will remember her for her loving heart, quick wit, and her gift for conversation. She loved people, was always ready to lend a hand, and brought light and laughter wherever she went.
Her kindness, humor, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of Shirleen’s life will be held on October 25, 2025 at her residence from 2:00PM to 4:00PM.
