Shon Ray Mildon's Obituary
Shon Ray Mildon, 58, of Ogden, Utah, passed away on March 23, 2026. He succumbed to his ongoing battle with cancer, surrounded by his family. He was born on December 13, 1967, in El Paso, Texas.
Shon was a devoted husband, father, son, and friend who brought humor and lightness to those around him. He never took himself too seriously and was well known for his jokes, often said with a smirk that could brighten anyone’s day.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Nana Mae; his grandparents, Barbara and Bob Whitaker, Dee and Helen Mildon, and Ed and Marcia Arnecke; and his brother, Chad.
Shon is survived by his loving wife, Sarah; his sons, Dallas, James, Austin, and Charlie; his daughters, Mariah and Daronda; his eight grandchildren; his father, Dennis; and his second mother, Nancy, along with her children, Jim and Traci. He leaves behind a family who will deeply miss his humor, warmth, and unwavering presence.
Shon graduated from Ben Lomond High School, where he ran track and played the saxophone in the band. Shon took great pride in his work at Kimberly-Clark, where he was a dedicated employee.
Outside of work, he had a passion for bowling, where he was known to be exceptionally skilled. He was a loyal fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Dodgers and loved to collect casino cards. He also enjoyed spending time fishing, camping, and golfing. He even had a special fondness for snakes, which not many people knew.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Premier Funeral Home, 5335 S 1950 W, Roy, Utah.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you go through and donate to your favorite charity in Shon’s honor.
Shon will be remembered for his laughter, his love for his friends and family, and the joy he brought to everyday moments. His memory will live on in all who knew and loved him.
The family would like to thank the oncology, radiology, and infusion teams at McKay-Dee Hospital Cancer Center.
