Solveig Elisabeth Jesperson's Obituary
Solveig Elisabeth Jesperson passed away at home Tuesday Nov. 1, 2011. She was born March 17, 1948 in Stockholm, Sweden. She and her parents Britta and Eric Brandt made the long journey to America when she was only a year old. She was raised in Utah where later a sister and then brother (Marianne and Bert) joined the family.
She met her sweet husband Mark on a blind date and was married and sealed to him in the LDS Los Angeles temple Nov. 20, 1970. They were blessed with three children of their own and held the role as surrogate parents to many others. She has many talents some of which were speaking three languages (Swedish, English & Spanish), art, sewing, decorating, and of course making people love her. She loves all the beauty the world has to offer and lived to serve with unconditional love.
She is survived by her husband Mark; her three children: Eric, Jenny (Mitch) and Becky (Jesse); and her four grandchildren: Elise, Isak, Sjoren, and Owen. She has been loved by countless and will be missed by countless more.
She is welcomed by the open arms of her Heavenly Father and parents. Til we meet again.
Funeral services will be held Friday November 4, 2011, 11 a.m., Aspen 7th Ward LDS chapel, 965 West 2000 North Orem. Family and friends may call at a viewing held that morning from 9-10:30 a.m. prior to services. Family prayer 10:45 a.m. Graveside services will be held at the Orem Cemetery.
