Stacey Ray Jensen's Obituary
Stacey Ray Jensen
June 11, 1974 – June 20, 2026
Stacey Ray Jensen, 52, passed away on June 20, 2026, in St. George, Utah. He was born on June 11, 1974, in American Fork, Utah, and lived a life that was anything but ordinary.
Throughout his life, Stacey embraced many different paths. He was an entrepreneur, a salesman, an artist, and a dreamer. From building custom backyard putting greens through his own business to selling Lexus automobiles, Stacey had a gift for connecting with people and bringing enthusiasm to everything he did. He was never afraid to try something new and always found a way to leave his personal touch on whatever project captured his interest.
One of Stacey's greatest talents was his creativity. He inherited his artistic abilities from his mother, LaRae, and transformed that gift into breathtaking saltwater aquariums that became living works of art. He also had a lifelong love of cars, sand rails, adventure, and anything that could bring a little excitement into life.
In his younger years, Stacey was often the center of the fun. He had an infectious laugh, a quick wit, and a knack for making every gathering memorable. His energy was contagious, and his presence made ordinary moments feel extraordinary.
Stacey is survived by his children, Alexa Mears and Rylee Wride; his mother, LaRae Thorpe; his father, Raymond Jensen; his grandmother, Joy Proctor; his siblings, Shalauna Nielsen, Jamie Johnson, Josie Moosman, Brandy Lamb, Tanner Powless, and Zachary Thorpe; and his beloved dog, Max. He is also survived by numerous extended family members, friends, and loved ones whose lives were made better simply by knowing him.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ray Proctor; his sister, Savannah Jensen; and his beloved Uncle Joe.
The family finds comfort in imagining Stacey's reunion in Heaven. We picture Savannah and Uncle Joe waiting to welcome him home with open arms, plenty of laughter, and stories ready to be shared. And somewhere nearby, there is undoubtedly a mischievous raccoon named Clyde keeping everyone entertained. Those who knew Stacey understand that Heaven likely became a little louder, a little brighter, and a whole lot more interesting the day he arrived.
While our hearts are broken by his passing, we are grateful for the memories he leaves behind—the laughter, the adventures, the creativity, and the love. Stacey's legacy lives on through the countless stories that begin with, "Remember when Stacey..."
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to share memories, laughter, and stories.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all those who loved, supported, and cared for Stacey throughout his life.
