Stephan Nelson Russell's Obituary
Stephan (Steve) Nelson Russell, 70 of West Haven, Utah, passed away on February 23, 2026 at home.
Born on November 2, 1955 in Lancaster, California to Jean Bennett Russell and Fredrick (Dave) Russell.
Steve retired from the US Government Contracting Office in 2012,
Steve was known for his kind and generous heart, never an unkind word. Steve enjoyed Wheelchair racing and participated in the Midnight Sun Ultra Challenge from Fairbanks Alaska to Anchorage Alaska (365 Miles) as well as various local races and sports such as basketball and kayaking. He also enjoyed building things, welding and being with family.
He is survived by his wife, best friend and soul mate of 34 years, Kathy, his daughters Stephanie and Jessika, two sons, Casey and Nol. Eleven Grandchildren, and nine Great Grandchildren. Steve is also survived by his brother Bruce and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Jean and Fredrick, and his sister Debbie.
We will celebrate his life on a daily basis in our hearts and thoughts. His love for family and friends will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
