Stephanie Kindred Price Kaipainen's Obituary
Stephanie Kindred Price/Kaipainen unexpectedly returned to her Father in Heaven on August 7, 2024. Stephanie was born on June 24, 1984 to her parents Gregory C. Price and Cristy D. Smith in Ogden, Utah. Stephanie was preceded in death by her mother(Cristy Smith), grandmothers (Coral Morley and Lois Price), sister (Rebecca Price), and her beloved dog (Wookie). She is survived in death by her husband (Brian Kaipainen), children (Cyrus, Sydney, Adelyn, Maydrii, and Roselynn), father (Gregory Price), grandfathers (Brent Morley, Ronald Price and Gerald Smith), and sisters (Lisa Price, Angie Inman, and Ashley Price).
Stephanie was reared in Layton, Utah with her four sisters. In 2007 she met the love of her life Brian, and they were married in 2010. Stephanie was an excellent wife, mother, daughter, aunt, granddaughter and sister. She had an incredible love for all animals, large and small.
Stephanie was a compassionate and thoughtful giver. She showed this in ways like carrying extra umbrellas in her car for any unlucky individual that was caught in the rain without one, faithfully doing her grandmother’s hair every Sunday before church, when she could no longer do it for herself, and sending thoughtful care packages to struggling family members. She had the creative ability to renovate and turn any space into a home, filled with love and serenity.
Stephanie had a natural talent for understanding technology; She could master any computer, phone or other electronic device with ease. While using this talent and extensive research, Stephanie discovered Brian’s true last name was Kaipainen and she restored their last name, as a gift to her husband, Brian.
She will be sorely missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Stephanie’s wishes were to hold a gathering where photos and memories could be shared amongst all those who knew her. Stephanie’s “Celebration of Life” will be held at 4:30-6:30PM, September 8, 2024, at the Ogden City Botanical Gardens.
