Stephen Warner DeVries' Obituary
Stephen Warner DeVries, 80, of Clearfield, Utah passed away at Mt. Ogden Rehab and Care Center in Ogden, Utah on April 10, 2026.
Born on July 9th, 1945 in Ogden, Utah to Uke and Norma Warner DeVries. Stephen attended Clearfield High School where he excelled in several sports, and was proud to be chosen as Clearfield High School's first school artist. He was a very talented and accomplished artist.
Steven was known for his kindness, generosity, and love of family. He proudly served several years in the Utah National Guard. Steve worked as counselor at the State Industrial School and Job Corps for many years.
He is survived by his sister Judy Devries Day and her husband David Day. His nephew Holden Holt and niece Celeste Holt Cooper , and his many nieces & nephews who will miss him dearly. We would like to thank Penelope Turner Wood her family for helping him with his care.
Steve's warmth and generosity and unwavering support for other will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
On Monday, April 20th, 2026 there will be a graveside service at Ogden City Cemetery at 12:00 pm.
