I’m a lot younger than Steve, but my big brother was best friends with him before and in High School. But I do remember some fun things about Steve. I know him and my brother use to go out to Smith & Edwards and get rocket 🚀 pellets and wrap them in tinfoil with a pin in one side. Take the pin out and light them off through a pipe. Best bottle rockets I’d ever seen. I’ll never forget Steve’s smile and laugh. He will be missed, but I know I will see him again.
I’m so sorry for your loss. I worked with Steve at Prairie Schooner. He was great to work with. Condolences to all of his family.
I remember years ago when Steve taught us in a Relief Society meeting how to grill a steak like a restaurant chef, using olive oil and seasoning massaged into the (room temperature) meat.
