Sterling Buhler Day died at his home November 10, 2017. He was born January 2, 1949 in American Fork UT. He was the fourth child of Lawrence Earl Day and Lillie Buhler. He was preceded in death by his three older siblings; Lillie Martha, Alma, Earl and his son Richard Sterling Day.
Sterling married his sweetheart and love of his life, Evelina Kay Cole December 29, 1978 in the Salt Lake Temple. They has three children and six grandchildren. Robert Cole Day (Natalie Pili); Mikaela, Jocelyn and Wesley. Tricia Day Eddards (Michael Eddards); Aaron and Porter. Mark Lawrence Day (Camilla Meyer); Evelyn.
Sterling was a fun grandpa that loved to get down and play. He was a kind hearted man that loved his family. He found peace in music and the mountains and passed those loves onto his kids.
Funeral services will be held, Friday November 17, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Jordan 6th Ward Chapel located at 3650 West 4400 South, West Valley City, UT 84120. Friends may visit with family Thursday, November 16th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment at Elysian Burial Gardens.
