Steven Barnes' Obituary
Steven Barnes was born in the year of our lord... 1946 on the 11th of February in the city of Heber, born to Joanne and Jim Barnes, he grew up with many family members and always enjoyed telling stories about growing up with his uncles.
Steve decided that he would pursue trucking driving and did it well for over 50 years.
Steve meet his wife and life partner in June of 2006 and was married in February 16th 2007.
Steven loved spending time with his grandchildren , they were his greatest treasure. He would refer to them as his band of 7.
Steve had a great bond with all his grandchildren but his Bond with his Bambina Chavez was inseparable two peas in a pod!
He is survived by his wife, Cinthia Barnes; children; Jeff Barnes, Justin Lyons, Franchesca Wiseman, Cindy Chatterson, Gina Jaquez, Dion Jacquez, Anthony Jaquez, Chase O'Connell, Heather Gallegos; brother; Rodger Barnes. He is survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He had a great friendship with surviving friends Gary and Kyle.
The family would like to thank those who took the time to help care and follow up on Steve during his final days and took the time to let him know he was truly loved.
His sunset came upon us Nov 11th 2021.
We will miss you dearly Papa Steve... we love you always and forever.
Funeral memorial services will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021, 3 – 5 pm at Premier Funeral Services, 5335 So. 1950 W. Roy, Utah. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated by the family for funeral expenses to Venmo account @WeLoveSteve
