Steven Lewis Bishop's Obituary
Steven Lewis Bishop passed away in Roy Utah after a long battle with cancer. He was born November 6, 1951 in Ogden to Howard H and Charlene Lewis Bishop. He attended Weber County schools, graduating from Bonneville High School in 1970.
Steve joined the Navy in 1971, achieving the rank of Petty Officer 2nd Class. He served on the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz in the Mediterranean Sea. He was honorably discharged in 1977. After the navy, Steve went to work at Hill Air Force Base in maintenance, retiring in 2008 after 30 years of service.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with family and friends. He was a member of the gun club and earned many awards for his trap shooting. He was an active member of the American Legion in Clearfield and had many friends there.
Steve was married to Geri Bishop and had one son, Chad. They later divorced, He then married Terrie Bishop. They spent many years doing things they loved, but they also divorced.
Steve was proceeded in death by his parents, both ex-wives, a granddaughter, Shaylee Ovard and his brother, Darrell.
He is survived by his son, Chad (April) Bishop, two granddaughters, Baylee and Adrian, and a great-granddaughter, Rose. He is also survived by his sister, Diana (Larry) Ruple and numerous cousins and nephews.

As per Steve's request, there will be no visitation or funeral. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Premier Funeral Services were entrusted with the arrangements and cremation.
