Steven Kirk Norris' Obituary
Steven (Steve) Kirk Norris' life began on Thursday, June 4, 1964, in the sunny city of Arcadia, California. He was welcomed into this world with the love from his mother, Nancy Louetta, and father, Russel Spencer Norris. Belonging to his father, his siblings are Andrew Mark, Angelene Joy, Amber Hope, Aimee Rachelle. Belonging to his mother, his siblings are, Dawn Michelle and Amy Lynn.
Steve was a bright and ambitious young boy who struggled with some hardships. He was a successful boy scout, loved to be outside riding his bike, and playing sports with his friends. As a young man, Steve wanted to join the U.S. Army, just like his father, Russel. Steve enlisted, served in Germany and married the mother of his oldest children Melissa Ann Norris. As an Army veteran and devoted guitarist, Steve had an aptitude for all things mechanical, he was known for his hard work, unwavering spirit, and a touch of eccentricity that endeared him to all who knew him.
After 60 years of life he passed away on September 10, 2024, in Ogden, Utah. Surrounded by his beloved children, wife, grandchildren, and friends, Steve left this world with the same passion and zest that characterized his life.
He is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Heather Lynn Norris, and his children: Zechariah Steven Norris (Febe Anthony), Suzanna Michelle Norris(Rylan Ryker, Micah Legrand) Rebekkah Ann Mortensen(Wesley Alexander, Orion Ann) Dalton Robert Smith and Bralon Andrew Norris. He is preceded in death by his cherished son, Ryker Lance Norris, who has been waiting 16 years to embrace his father.
A celebration of Steven’s life will be held at Eden Park 2100 N 5600 E, Eden, UT 84310 on September 21, 2024 from 1 PM-5 PM.
