Steven Raymond Scott's Obituary
Steven Raymond Scott, age 35, of Murray, Utah, passed away on April 30, 2025.
Steven was born on April 15, 1990, in Provo, Utah, to David and Sabrina Scott. He spent his early years in Kearns, Utah, before moving with his family to Clermont, Florida, in 2004, where he lived until 2010. He graduated from South Lake High School in Groveland, Florida, in 2008.
From 2010 to 2012, Steven served faithfully as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Buenos Aires West Mission in Argentina. After returning home in 2012, he moved back to Utah to begin the next chapter of his life.
In 2015, Steven met MaryAnn Kibbie, and they were married on June 17, 2017, in Bountiful, Utah. Together, they built a loving home and welcomed two daughters: Hailey, born on May 15, 2018, and Phoebe, born on April 8, 2024.
Steven is survived by his wife, MaryAnn Scott; their daughters, Hailey and Phoebe; his parents, David and Sabrina Scott; his brother, Michael Scott; and his sister, Elizabeth Scott Smith. He was preceded in death by his brother, Benjamin Scott.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at Community of Christ, located at 2747 E Craig Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84109. Friends and family are invited to attend and celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to @StevenScottMemorialFund on Venmo.
Steven will be remembered for his deep faith, kind heart, unwavering devotion to his family, and his boisterous laugh that could light up any room. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
