Dear Fran and Sorensen family,
Truly an honor to have met Steven and learn of the legacy he created. He shared his time and talents with those fortunate to know and learn from him.
May the memories shared, as family and friends come together, bring comfort, joy and a touch of laughter as well.
He will long be remembered because of his goodness.
Sending our love,
Suncrest Hospice
Steve & I met in 1957-58, we became instant buddies, we went to Grant 11th Ward together where we were both Scouts. We camped, fished, rode bikes, built models, played guitars, double dated, roller skated, we did everything together, we became lifelong pals. We drew funny characters in church to make each other laugh, occasionally, we were asked for reverence from the pulpit. Steve was a dedicated friend with a unique sense of humor, a compassionate & sharing man always serving others, he was a master carpenter with an eye for detail building beautiful clocks, jewelry boxes & furniture; he built countless small cars, tractors, busses, ambulances, fire trucks & more for the humanitarian center for the LDS Church. Steve was a man of many talents, an educated man who proudly served his country, he was a dedicated Patriarch to his family, most of all, he was my best friend.
