Dad and I spent so much time together it's very difficult to find one special memory there are so many, We spent a lot of time up at east canyon having picnics and watching the dog's run all over. Mostly though I remember how extremely brave and strong he was through all the doctor's and wound care for year's. In all that time I never once heard him complain not EVER he always said it was a great day to be alive...... I miss his wisdom he always knew what to say to fix anything weather it was advice about the garden or cheering me up when i was mad or sad. Most girl's call there friend's when they need advice not me I always call my father in law. I miss his 9am daily wake up call's and his 11pm good night call's. Every morning for the last 6 year's he has called me and his first word's were always good morning my sunshine girl. I am so honored to have been the one to spend his last year's with him what a goofball he was every time devo whip it would come on the radio when we were driving he would start dancing in the seat. One day I came in the back door and said popperoni he thought i called him pepperoni and from that day on he called himself pepperoni in fact the morning of his passing he left me a voice mail that simply says pepperoni did call, call me back....
I love you pepperoni and i will miss you dearly until we meet again. you made my life special and i will forever cherish our time together thank you for being my dad when i no longer had one and for accepting me and welcoming me into your family. rest well pop
