Summer Lee Saunders' Obituary
Summer Lee Saunders, age 40, joined her Heavenly Father, peacefully, surrounded by friends and family on March 23, 2021. She was born to Jolene Daley and Charlie Saunders on Oct 18, 1980.
Summer loved people. She would always compliment a stranger while standing in line at the store. She said “The most important things in life are God, people, and love”. Summer loved horses, and whenever she could, she would visit the rescue horses. Silver was her favorite. He would follow her everywhere, and of course Summer would always bring them treats.
Summer also loved birds. She would point out where the finches were building their nests, and if she heard a dove calling, she would say it lost its lover. Most of all, Summer loved her children, and loved when they would come visit. She would always make them snack trays (hence the nickname “Summer Snack Tray”).
She is survived by her daughter, Rivers England, son, Ryder England, grandfather John Dahart, fiancé Ralph Lefler, mother Jolene Daley, father Charlie Saunders and step father Mike Daley.
A wake will be held at John Dahart’s house 6429 S. 840 W. Murray on Sunday, March 28th from 2pm to 4pm.
In lieu of flowers, a small donation to Unbridled Hope and Healing in Summer’s name would be appreciated.
