Susan Hodges (Vialpando)'s Obituary
Susan Hodges (Vialpando) age 61, passed away on September 14, 2025, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born on April 1, 1964, in the same city she called home throughout her life, Susan brought warmth, laughter, and love to all who knew her.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, David Hodges; her children: Michael (Corrie) Alyxzandra (Adrian), and Mackayla. Susan was a devoted grandmother to six cherished granddaughters: Luna, Raiden, Gemma, Kobe, Capri, and Lilith. She also leaves behind her sister Ginger (Mark) and brother Lenny (Carla), along with many nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.
Susan was preceded in death by her beloved parents Mary and Joseph Vialpando; her brother Joe; sister Deana; nephew Mark; and mother-in-law Marylin.
A woman of vibrant spirit and boundless affection, Susan was known for her sassiness, caring nature, and infectious sense of humor. Her love for those close to her ran deeper than words could ever fully express. She found immense joy in spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters and sister. Whether she was curled up with a good book or binge-watching one of her favorite shows, Susan embraced the simple pleasures of life with enthusiasm.
Her presence lit up every room she entered. The joy she brought into the lives of others will remain a lasting legacy. Those fortunate enough to know Susan will carry forward memories filled with laughter, love, and the unmistakable spark that made her so unforgettable.
