Susan Roach Hughes
1947 – 2014 - Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away December 2, 2014. She will be greatly missed by her eternal companion of 42 years, Michael Lloyd Hughes, and her children: Angie (Kevin) Monte, Jaime (Jenn) Hughes, Jared (Amanda) Hughes, and Bethany (Blaine) Jardine; her loving grandchildren that were the light of her life: Christopher, Jaiden, Jackson, Madison, Noah, Logan and Emma; her sister Ann and brother-in-law Walt Layton, along with her niece Amy, and nephews Corbin (Allison), Rand (Emily), Zach (Iara) Layton who were a constant source of love and comfort to her. Also, brother-in-law Brent (Merilee) Hughes and family. She lived a life full of love and generosity to all she came in contact with. She was preceded in death by her beloved son Bryan, her precious niece Annalise, and greatly appreciated second family Gale and Jeannine Brundage.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 8, 2014 at the Union 4th LDS Church located on 6710 South 1300 East, Midvale, UT with viewing on Sunday the 7th from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the services at the church.
