SUSAN KAY MONTES
6/14/1962 – 9/21/2106
Our beloved mother, sister & grandmother, passed away in her home September 21, 2016. She was born 6/14/1962 to LaRell and Carol Knight (now deceased). She married Efren Montes (later divorced) and had 3 wonderful children Dusttin, Brandon (Granddaughter Delilah Montes) & Kody.
She always had time for her kids and always put them first. She never forgot a birthday. She always wanted everyone to be happy and would do anything in her power to make that happen. Susan loved sports growing up and excelled in track in high school. She loved camping and being in the outdoors and her cat Lucky. She would spend hours gardening in the family garden. She worked in the Food industry her entire life. She was a dedicated worker and never complained. She enjoyed her job at Paradise Bakery helping to work in and manage several locations.
Surviving siblings are Barbra, Laurie (Randy) Edwards, Brenda (Randy) Knight, Sharon (Vaughn) Montgomery, Nathan (Jan) Knight & Gary (Heather) Knight.
Her battle with cancer took her away from us too soon. We’re really going to miss her!
Graveside services to be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at the Bountiful City Cemetery, Bountiful, UT.
