Taylor "Tay Tay" C Ogden's Obituary
Taylor peacefully passed away and jumped into her grandfather’s arms on March 14, 2018, she was surrounded by her family. Taylor was born on September 7, 1993 in Salt Lake City, UT to Jedediah Vaughn Ogden and Dawn Magleby Ogden.
Taylor was diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension at the age of 14 and was blessed to receive her double lung transplant for her Sweet 16. Everyone joked that she had the best 16th birthday present ever. After Taylor’s transplant, she started living her life to the fullest. She went to concerts, camping and fishing and hung out with her friends and family, having the time of the life. Her smile was contagious and she could talk to anyone, even the people she had just met and make them laugh. Taylor’s laugh and carefree nature will be deeply missed
Taylor is survived by her mother and step-father Dawn and Brian McKane, father Jed Ogden and her four loving sisters Mycka (Tylor) Murphy, Rylie, Morgan and Ashton Ogden, step-brothers Chase (Meshell) McKane and Brian Garn, nieces and nephew Angela and Darius Murphy, grandparents Eloise Magleby, Ruth McKane, Teri and Steve Bartee and John and Joan Ogden, numerous aunts and uncles and countless cousin and friends.
Taylor will be preceded in death by her grandfathers Wayne Magleby and Brian McKane Sr., aunt Nicole “Nikki” Newman and cousin Alexis Magleby.
Taylor’s viewing will be held on Friday March 23, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the Mackey Meadows Ward House located at 2976 W. Winchester Drive (4270 S.)
Taylor’s Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday March 24, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at All Star Bowling located on 7800 S. 1776 W.
We would like to especially thank Dr. Ronald Day, Dr. Sanjeev Raman, Dr. Barbara Cahill and all the nurses and staff at Primary Children’s and at the University of Utah Hospital.
We would like to give a special thanks to the donor who made Taylor’s life possible and all the people that have contributed to Taylor’s adventurous life.
