Teresa Marie Ochoa's Obituary
Teresa Marie Ochoa, 81 passed away peacefully on Oct 6 2023. She was born on August 20 1942 to Rudolpho Duran and Carmelita Gallegos in Del Norte, Colorado. She was one of seven children. Her parents passed when she was young and she was raised with family.
She relocated to California welcoming 5 children. She married and divorced and eventually relocated for the last time to Salt Lake City, UT where she worked management in retail and hospitality for many years before eventually retiring. Her sons Jimmy Duran and Donald Perez ended up relocating to be near her in UT, where Jimmy moved in with her to help care for her. They were very close, basically best friends doing everything and anything together. They both were very proud to have been baptized in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
After retiring her passion was her grandchildren, She had eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She loved children and would always help anyone who needed help with their kids, she was every childs grandma. She was very proud to be a grandma. She loved to bake and cook with her grandkids, teaching them everything she loved and telling stories of her childhood.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, her six siblings and her twin sons Jimmy Duran and Johnny Zammaron.
She is survived by her son Donald Perez and daughter Joanne Pettitt as well as her eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren
A memorial service will be held on Oct 20th 2023 1:30-2:30 at Premier Funeral Services 67 E 8000 S, Midvale, UT 84047
