Teri Michelle Corn Despain 1959 - 2016 Teri Michelle Corn Despain passed away June 20, 2016 from complications following heart surgery. She was born July 9, 1959 in Texarkana, Texas to Nancy Ann Taylor-Starling and William Edward Read Obituary

Michelle was one of the most incredible and incredibly loving individuals I have ever had the blessing and privilege to know. She made a huge difference in my life through the way she understood me and treated me. Making the world better one person at a time by making them feel loved, accepted, acceptable, and valued simply was intrinsic to her natural way of treating people. As was said by Rev. Peter today at her memorial service, she was one of the most gifted caregivers you could ever meet, and as I myself have said menu times I believed that Michelle had a special Grace of unconditional love and caring, as well a Grace of relating to people no matter who they were and are- or what challenges they were dealing with in their lives, or how they acted when interacting with her, she extended her gifts toward them and made a difference in their lives just by being herself, our wonderful, amazing angel-not-quite-in-disguise Michelle who was always loving always loved- always caring and always cared about - always valuing all she knew and always valued in return - and always remembering others as she herself will be always remembered by everyone whose life she ever touched and graced with the gift of herself, and we who have had that benison she was and is are legion. I'm grateful our last conversation ended with her telling me she loved me, and that the final words she heard from me in her life were I love you, Michelle. I do and I did and I will forever love her and be grateful I was lucky enough to know such an awesome and amazing woman as the gentle, generous, gracious, good and great Michelle Despain.

Our condolences to you Kim! We are so sorry for your loss. Michelle is a special person and I always loved visiting teaching her! She was creative and always busy doing remarkable things. I will never forget the great care and love Michelle had for her Achievement Day girls when our Rachel was a young girl. She always had fun activities for them and I know she spent a lot of time preparing. May you find comfort in the days ahead!
With Love, Keith and Debbie Mildenstein
