Terrence (Terry) Leon Rassier loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and son, passed away on March 25, 2024. Terry was born in St Cloud, Mn, on November 8, 1954. He lived on his Grandfathers farm until he was 5 years old, where he then moved with his family to Pleasant Hill, Ca. He graduated from College Park High School. Terry was an avid Raiders fan all of his life.
After high school, he joined the U.S.Navy, where he proudly served his country during the Vietnam War aboard the U.S.S. Kittyhawk Aircraft Carrier.
After leaving the Navy, he came to Utah where he lived the rest of his life. He met and married Diane, his first wife and had 2 wonderful children. They later divorced but remained good friends.
Terry worked at Imco Foundry where he began to build friendships. He left there and went to work as the plant manager at Purolator, where he worked for 20 years, until they closed the SLC Plant. He made many life long friends that he loved very much.
He then worked at Blendtec Blenders, as the Plant Manager, and made many more life long friends that he stayed in touch with until he passed. After leaving Blendtec, he went to work with his boy at NCNS as an estimator/project manager. Terry loved all of "the guys" and he visited them regularly after retirement. His co-workers visited him at the hospital, with love and hope.
Terry married the love of his life, Claudia Nosack on March 31, 2007 in Mesquite, Nv. They made their home in Lehi, Utah, where Terry's yard was named yard of the month many times over the years.
Terry was a great "Pops" to his 2 kids and Claudia's 4 kids. He was an amazing Papa and Grandpa to the grandkids.
Terry and Claudia made many friends in the neighborhood, and Terry was always willing to help anyone that needed help with most anything. He will be missed by so many people.
He loved frequenting his favorite places, and loved the many friends he made at The Rendezvous, Scorez and the past few years going to the All Star Lounge with his brother-in-law to play his favorite golf machine and pool.
Terry was an avid golfer. He wanted to golf every day as it was his dream to be one of the best, and he was damn good at golf. He would go with his boy Rusty and golf with the Special Olympics every year. He helped his team win 1st place many times, and he taught Rusty how to become a good golfer, and a good man.
