Dear Daddy-
I love you, If I could go back in time I would. I wouldn't have let the things/lies mom did/say about/to me keep me from you or my sisters and brother for so many years. I'm sorry that I was weak and couldn't stand up to her or for the truth. I'm sorry I stayed away because her lies hurt me so much. I will always keep my promises that I made to you. You taught me so much but mostly how to love, be selfless and never selfish, think of others first. always help and give when you can even if it means you have to go without. That taking care of your family is number 1. One of my favorite things you use to say is "Well It's to far from your heat to kill you, so I think you will live, and " Rest? rest is for when your in the ground, that's why RIP is on your headstone so I wont rest til I'm in the ground". Well daddy after so many years of you working and working hard even when you were sick and told not to but you still did/ raising 6 kids plus some grand kids / and always giving and giving, you now get to rest peacefully. Hey grandpa, it's Dillon. sorry I haven't wrote you for awhile. First off, I love and miss you so much.. But I know you're still here with me. So gues what, my mom got married Saturday... Pretty crazy huh? I am not to sure how dad is handling it.. I'm praying for him, I'm sure he's doing ok though. I'm getting married in a weeks gramps I really wished you could be here for it... I found my dream/soul mate grandpa. She has a little attitude but loves with all her heart. I'm really happy! We're also getting our own place here soon too! I miss you so much grandpa.. I still can't get over you not being here... I'm still a big baby haha.. Happy early Valentines times grandpa!

Hey grandpa! Guess what, i have finally got off probation!!! I did it gramps, that's one more thing crossed off my list! Now it's time to graduate and get into college!! I love you so much grandpa and i can't believe you've been gone for a year and 4 months now!! It doesn't feel real! I don't think it's still hit me yet that you're gone. I like writing you on this cuz i feel like you can hear me this way too, i pray to you every night, i know you're aware of that! haha It's been one hard year for me paco! But i'm dating the most beautiful girl ever grandpa she's the one!! I'm in love like no other!!! I wish you were here to see how happy i am, and to watch me graduate and get married!! But i know you're up there watching me! I still will always keep that promise that i will go so far in life for you!! Please keep giving me the strenght to push forward! Grandpa, hey it's Dillon.. I miss you so much. Words can't how life is for me knowing you're not here anymore.. i wish my mom and dad would have stayed together than we wouldn't had been seperated from all of the family.. If i had the choice i would have been to Utah a long time ago. I hate how my parents had to get devorced because that took time from us to spend with you and all of the other family..I had so much to tell you grandpa, I pray every night hoping you can hear me. I'm getting great grades and i'm focusing on getting off probation, i messed up after you died, i got put back on probation cuz i couldn't man uo and face the feelings i was having so i started to doing crap.. i have grown up alot more though and know you're right there with me when im down. Hey, it's even hard for me to fish now cuz i just have memories of you taking me.. Ima graduate for you and grandma and become a seceful person in life i promise you that. This years been so hard for me, but i wan't you to know i love you so much grandpa and wished you were here you'll always be in my heart when i think about giving up and i'll contiue to push for you.. love you gramps!
