Terry G. Frost's Obituary
Terry G. Frost, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2025, at the age of 79. Born in Boise, Idaho, Terry spent most of his life in Payson, Utah, where he built a legacy of service, faith, and family.
Terry was the devoted husband of Marilyn B. Frost and the loving father of five children: Taralyn Frost, Tiffaney Frost, Chad (Brooke) Frost, Greg (Rachelle) Frost, and Brett (Shannon) Frost. He was a proud grandfather to ten grandchildren: Carson, Danielle, Luke, Gavin, Dylan, Lucy, Owen, Krew, Nora, and Macy Frost. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Lucille Frost, siblings, Ronald Frost, Richard Frost, Jimmy Frost, and Marilyn Crandall, and in-laws, Charles and Melvina Bowles.
A lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Terry served faithfully throughout his life, including a full-time mission in the Northwestern States, and numerous callings such as Bishop and member of the Stake High Council. He concluded his service in the Church as an ordinance worker in both the Provo and Payson Utah Temples.
Terry’s strong work ethic began in his youth mowing lawns and continued through his time working at Bart’s Catering in Springville—his family’s business. He later taught Seminary in Manti, Utah, and eventually found his professional home in the life insurance industry.
Beyond his career and Church service, Terry had a deep passion for firearms. He enjoyed hunting, target shooting, collecting and selling guns, and reloading ammunition. Above all, Terry found his greatest joy in serving and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025, at the Payson Page Ward building, located at 600 East 700 South, Payson, Utah. A viewing will be held from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m., with services beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Springville, Utah.
Terry will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for his faith, kindness, and devotion to his family.
