Terry Johnson
April 28, 1950 - January 6, 2018
Terry Martin Johnson, 67, passed away at home following a courageous battle with cancer on January 6, 2018. Terry was born on April 28, 1950 in Ogden, UT. He was adopted and raised by his very loving paternal grandparents Donald and Verna Johnson.
Terry attended St. Paul Lutheran School and graduated from Ogden High School in 1968. He then enrolled and served in the U.S. Navy. During his service time, Terry lived in Naples, Italy and Boston, MA. He then returned to Ogden, UT to attend Weber State College where he met the love of his life, Pamela Marie Dodge. They were married on January 7, 1977. Terry passed the day before their 41st Wedding Anniversary. Terry and Pam were blessed with 6 children.
Terry had a love of art and was a very talented painter. He created many beautiful masterpieces. He also loved to travel, especially to the Mexican Riviera and to Europe. One of the most important things to Terry was his family. He loved to spend time with his 7 grandchildren and take them on adventures. During his career, Terry worked for Coca-Cola and later retired from Western Zirconium.
Terry is survived by his wife Pamela; his 4 sons: Aaron (Jenette), Adam (Kellie), Alex (Stephanie), and Arick; sister Betsy Harvey; brother Vern (Sharon) Johnson; and 7 grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his twin children- Andrew and Andrea; his grandparents Donald and Verna; father Clarence Johnson, mother Donnetta Robinson-Trujillo; and step-father Max Trujillo.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2018 between 6 and 8pm at Premier Funeral Home 5335 S. 1950 West, Roy, UT.
