As Terry's brother I have many great memories. We were on a fishing trip in the Uintah mountains staying in a cabin at Spirit Lake. Larry and Terry on this trip had two friends staying with us. For the day we hiked up to Tamarack Lake to fish. I and my Dad in one row boat and Terry, Larry and two friends in the other row boat. Dad and I noticed a strange occurrence happening in their row boat. They were all standing up and hurriedly and repeatedly shoving the end of their fishing poles down in the water. We rowed over to ask what they were doing. It seems their friends did not know how to fish.
So, Terry had told them to catch large trout you need to rapidly poke the end of your pole in and out of the water. Unknown to many Terry had a dry sense of humor as was displayed on this fishing day. We all had a great laugh at their friends new fishing technique. Terry was fun to be around and his laugh was contagious.
