My sincere condolences to Tim"s family and friends. I met Mr. Hite in 1963 while attending Salt Lake Trade Tech in the school of barbering. He was a wonderful instructor and became a lifelong mentor and friend. He has left a legacy that will be remembered by all those fortunate to have had him as a friend and instructor.

Tim was a great teacher and a wonderful man!
He was the best teacher that I ever had. He not only taught me all about hair, but he gave me a life long love of learning.
He was there for me during one of the worst times of my life. He gave me moral support while I was dealing with my grandmother's cancer. He made it so that I could spend as much time with her as possible while not missing out on school.
He was always great at helping students, dealing with their life problems, while training them for a future career; as well as life.
The hair industry, in Utah, has lost it's greatest supporter and friend.
God bless his loved ones! Theirs is the greatest loss!

I've learned from the best mentor and master barber Mr Hite showed me everything I know his lenged will move on barbers of the barbers
I first met Mr. Hite in 1985, in the pilot program at Jordan Technical Center. He was a strict and talented instructor, that gave everything to his teaching! I truly did not appreciate what I had access to at my young age. It wasn’t until just last year when I had the pleasure and opportunity to teach along side of him. To be able to see this true master and learn techniques that he had mastered. To watch him teach these new students was not only inspirational but such a blessing. I feel so lucky to be given the short time to see his greatness once again. He was an amazing man, instructor, and a true master barber! I Send my deepest condolences and prayers to Lynelle, Richard and the rest of the Hite family!

I’m so sorry to hear that my wonderful friend passed away this last Wednesday ( I just found out now).
I will miss him tons . I really loved Tim . I m still having a hard time to realize he is not with us anymore. Last time I saw him he looked so good.
His love and dedication for his career and his talent I just can’t find words to describe. He was above excellent!
I’m so glad I gave him a hug and told him I loved him last time I saw him ( like I always did)
I know , without a doubt ,that he is in a wonderful place , full of energy, peace and love and will continue to watch over what he loved the most: you and his family.
I’m so grateful for all he’s done for me and specially for the opportunity Heavenly Father gave to me to get to know him.

The first time I met Tim at school, I knew he would have a positive impact on my life. My schools days with Tim as my valued instructor were some of the happiest and productive times. He gave me the skills I needed for a long and satisfying career. Tim was an amazing friend, teacher and mentor. We shared many good times together; nice meals, business trips, great discussions, and on occasion, a nice single-malt scotch. Rest well my friend.

Mr Hite was truly an exceptional man. I'm so thankful for his guidance and direct as one of his students. I appreciate the interest he took in me.
