Thelma Lucile Pribble's Obituary
Thelma Pribble
1932 - 2022
Thelma Pribble was the sweetest person you could ever know. Born in SLC, UT on 10-24-1932 to Parley and Edrie. Thelma 89 ½ transitioned peacefully on May 11, 2022 at home knowing she was loved. A devout Christian and faithful LDS member, her faith in God never wavered. She had a kind heart and was a sympathetic listener.
Thelma leaves behind four children: Raylene Susie Albertson, Lynn Hansen, Clifford Hansen, and Tyrone (Kam) Pribble. Grandchildren: Justin Albertson, Orry (Chrissy) Albertson, Brandy Hansen, Nathan (Emily) Hansen, Eric Hansen, Taylor Hansen, Sen Anderson, Ashley (Austin) Coleman, Aude (Chai) Sisouvong, and Aulanh Sisouvong. And some of the World’s cutest great grandchildren. A brother Gordon (Linda) Losser. Preceded in transition by husband Dean, son Russell Hansen and brother Keith Losser.
Thelma had many talents. In Highschool she was a Majorette. Even into middle age she could throw a baton in the air so high that you could barely see it. It would come hurling down at a frightening speed but she would catch it and keep spinning it while putting it under her legs. It was an amazing thing to behold! She taught, for free, anyone that wanted to learn. Thelma taught a lot of girls over the decades how to spin a baton.
Thelma was a great seamstress, making most of her clothes for decades. She made her daughter’s clothes and her daughter’s doll clothes. When she lived in Murray, she had a half-acre garden and made all her food from scratch. She liked making crafts. The last five years of her life she colored in adult coloring books and her color combinations were so wonderful that she could have been a designer.
Thelma had many occupations. The most notable was running the family business under very challenging conditions. She would often have a phone in each ear.
Thelma was fun to be with and was always game for going on an adventure. Thelma loved to fly. She survived a plane crash and still loved flying. It seemed God protected her. Into his loving arms, may she reside in peace and love. She will be greatly missed.
