Theresa Hadlock Larsen's Obituary
Theresa Hadlock Larsen, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012. Theresa was born December 26, 1931 to Carl and Minerva Hadlock in Vernal Utah. She served a LDS Mission in Tonga, where she taught music, english and seminary at the Liahona College. She graduated from BYU receiving degrees in Music and English, and later received her teaching certificate for Learning Disabilities from Southern Utah University. She married Louis C. Larsen on September 23, 1963. She was an accomplished vocalist and pianist, utilizing her talents by serving extensively in church callings throughout her life for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and in the communities in which she lived. She served as an ordinance worker at both the Jordan and Oqiurrh Mountain Temples.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Louis C. Larsen; parents Carl & Minerva Hadlock ; brothers: Emil, Charles, Kenneth, LeGrande, and Curtis Hadlock ; and sisters: Verna Murray, Ardith Robbins and Opal Slaugh. She is survived by her children: L. Craig Larsen; Carolyn Boden; David C. Larsen; J. Christian Larsen; Paul D. Larsen; Mark H. Larsen; LouAnn Stermer; and Heidi Larsen; 31 grandchildren and 73 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Friday, October 26th at the Oquirrh 1st Ward LDS Chapel: 5208 Cyclamen Way, West Jordan UT. Viewing from 12:30-1:30 pm, and the funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm.
