Thomas Ray Bauman's Obituary
Our beloved father, brother, and friend, Tom Bauman, 56, died unexpectedly on Monday, May 10th due to complications from diabetes. Tom was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on September 21, 1959. He was a kind soul who loved to garden, read, discuss current events, and complete puzzles. He had a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh – something we’ll always remember. And though his life was difficult, his heart was huge.
Tom is survived by daughter Jenna (Lonnie) Castillo, grandson Izais, brother Mike Bauman, sister Jeri Judkins, best friend Lucy Romney, sister Lynda Ayala, and many cherished family and life-long friends. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Joanne Bauman. He missed them so much; we take comfort knowing they’ve been reunited.
Funeral services will be held at St. Anne Greek Orthodox Church, 3015 East Creek Road, on Tuesday May 17, at 10:30am. A viewing will be held at The Woods on Ninth, 6775 South 900 East, on Monday, May 16th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm with a prayer (Trisagion) at 6:30pm.
