Thomas Allen Davies' Obituary
Thomas Allen Davies left this world on August 14th, 2023, surrounded by the love and cherished
memories of his family. Art D. and Lois Sharp Davies welcomed him to the world on June 7, 1951.
Allen was a devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who touched the lives
of many. Allen's journey through life was defined by his unwavering commitment to those he held
dear.
Allen married Paula Parkinson, they were blessed with two remarkable sons, Mike (Lori) Davies
and Matt (Mandie) Davies, they later divorced. Allen met and married his new found love, Sharon
Story Hart, extending his heart and arms to her three sons, Chris Hart, Rob (Misty) Hart, and Scott
(Kristin) Hart. After several years of raising boys, they were blessed with the daughter that kept
them young, Madison (Tristan Loomis) Davies. This blended family was a testament to his capacity
for love and unity.
Allen's dedication to family remained constant. Allen was a proud patriarch, and his legacy shines
through the 21 grandkids he adored. Their names, which he held close to his heart, are: Dylan,
Jordan, Courtney, Sierra, Wyatt (Nakayla), Kyle (Chloe), Weston (Olivia), Emmalee (Ethan), Austin
(Mayla), Heston, Diana, Cydnee, Levi, Dahlila, Bradyn, TK, Boston, Charles, Preston, Grady and
Grant. His joy multiplied with the arrival of 3 great-grandchildren, Elowen, Sevryn, and Reverie, with
the promise of another on the way. His heart was extended to several bonus grandchildren that he
loved as his own: Maya, Landon, Ollie, Paisley and Amelia.
Allen loved family cookouts, movies, long car rides, crossword puzzles, sudoko, Friday morning
breakfast with the guys, and trippin' with his best friends. He cherished his Father in Heaven and
the knowledge that families can be together forever.
As he returns to his Heavenly Father, Allen leaves behind his treasured family, his brother and
partner in crime Artie Davies, and beautiful, talented sister Jan Lyons. Adding to those, his large
extended family of numerous brother/sister-in-laws, nieces/nephews, cousins ,and cherished
friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Michael G. Davies, sisters Judy Davies
and Joann Stephens, beloved in-laws Walter Parkinson, and Grant and Beverly Story.
His life was a mosaic of love, laughter, and shared moments. As we bid him farewell, we celebrate
the life he lived, the love he gave, and the indelible impact he had on all who were fortunate enough
to know him. Allen will be missed deeply but remembered always. May he find eternal peace in the
embrace of the heavens above.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 19, 2023, 11:30 a.m. at the Huntsville Stake Center,
6450 E 1900 N Eden, UT. Prior to the service a family meet and greet will be held from 10:30 -
11:15 a.m. As per Allen's wishes he was cremated, so there will not be an Interment at this time.
In lieu of flowers, Allen would want you to gather your family close, take them to the movies, eat lots
of popcorn, go on long rides, have cookouts, and build memories while you still have time.
