Our loving, funny, and outgoing father, grandpa, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, Thomas Allen Gallegos, Jr. “Tommy”, age 61, passed away at home of natural causes on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 in Salt Lake City. He was born on January 29, 1959 to Rosa “Edna” and Thomas E. Gallegos. He grew up in Salt Lake City, always a curious and adventurous young man with big dreams and goals. Tommy always had a smile on his face and was always ready to tell you one of his jokes. He enjoyed drawing and painting on his own time and referred to himself has Tommy Picasso. He attended South High School where he was a State wrestling champion. He enjoyed many sports throughout his life, especially Jazz games which he attended often, and also enjoyed watching football with family and friends. Tommy enjoyed traveling, watching movies, and our special Friday night family dinners and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his children, Shauntel (Ryon), Thomas, and Ombrie; siblings, Lillian (Don), Geraldine (Ross), Diane (Jim), and Benjamin; 13 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and so many special friends.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private service will be held by family. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
