I have so many memories of Uncle Tom, and like so many others have shared, they’re filled with his humor, his kindness, and the way he made people feel seen. Watching his service, I could feel the love and respect in every story that was told about him. It was a beautiful tribute. The music especially moved me... the song was heartfelt, and the harp was absolutely stunning.

This photo of Uncle Tom and Aunt Karen was taken on May 11, 2018. They surprised me by showing up at a small boutique where my father‑in‑law was selling his handmade birdhouses. Their support that day meant a lot to me.

Thank you, Uncle Tom, for the laughter, the warmth, and the memories. You will be deeply missed. My love goes out to you, Aunt Karen, and to your children. You raised a beautiful family. 💚💚💚

I knew Tom when he was serving with Karen as missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Lyon, France. He was always so kind and welcoming when I would see him at the Young Adult Center there. I appreciated his listening ear and wanting to help my mission companion and I in any way he could. I will always remember his Christlike love and example. He will be greatly missed!

Tom was a delight. With the last name of Green, and mine being White, we always had playful color reference talk. In the beginning, our ward had the Greens, Whites, Grays, Blacks, Browns which made for an endless list of puns and jokes about how colorful our ward is. I never saw him angry, quite the opposite, he always had a smile and open loving personality. I will look forward to our next conversional exchange in the here-after. Love you Tom, well done.

From our family to yours, we send our deepest condolences. Knowing how beautiful of a family he has created and loved. The Danyleyko family shares your loss. Knowing that God has a place for him and knowing how many people he has touched. Grandpa had a certain “goofy voice” that he used when connecting to us grandchildren in a playful way. His loving joking, followed by his jolly laugh, always made me happy. I can remember so many instances of complete joy as a child when Grandpa would play with me and make me feel like whatever we were doing was what mattered the very most in that moment.

I have so many memories of Tom.

At the top of the list is as a child, him finding the tickle bugs that he would find on me, it made me laugh so hard.

He was always quick with a dad joke or a pun. A great leader and example, and better neighbor. Tom was the best of the best as a human being. He will be missed!

Thomas was one of the most positive fun loving individuals we have every cared for. Both Jocelyn & Kim mentioned he was so fun to be with. He never had a bad word to say about anyone or anything. They said they were both blessed to have spent time with him.

Saying goodbye to the grandchildren as we were leaving in the car by us teasing by saying goofball, his animated and goofy "dislike" to the name and pretending to follow us to change his mind, and our continuation of using the name through half rolled up windows and side stitch giggles. Love and miss you, Goofball.

Did the same thing if he gave you a kiss on the head or cheek and pretended to wipe them off. You could expect a funny and animated response with a slew of additional kisses, which wiped off would encourage more.
