Thomas Y Lewis' Obituary
“To the world, you may be one person, but to one person, you may be the world.”
Tom and Lorraine were married on June 16, 1988 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and from that day forward, Tom was Lorraine’s world. He was her sunrise in the morning; he was her star at night.
Tom was kind, gentle, loving, intelligent, fun loving and possessed a wonderful sense of humor. He was both a talented electrical engineer and a gourmet chef. He lived and worked both in the U.S. as well as Iran and Jamaica.
If Tom had a fault, it was that he was a very private person and so few people knew Tom and how truly wonderful he was. The relationship Tom had with his wife was a gift that she will cherish for the rest of her life.
Tom loved to sail. He was at home on the ocean. He also loved to kayak, raft, and scuba dive. Tom and Lorraine spent months sailing the Bahamas and Tom’s final wish was to be cremated and have his ashes sprinkled at sea. A private ceremony will be held in the Caribbean.
