Thomas Charles Miles' Obituary
Thomas Charles Miles passed away peacefully in Salt Lake City, Utah on November 18, 2023, due to an age-related illness.
Tom was the youngest of five children born on May 23, 1948, to Milton and Oral Miles in Park City, Utah. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Tom graduated from Park City High School in 1967 where he enjoyed sports and spending time with his friends. He went on to get his associate degree in accounting at Salt Lake Community College.
Tom loved fishing and hunting in the Utah mountains with his father and brother Ralph. He also enjoyed spending time with friends, family and his son Jeff. Tom and Jeffrey had a good relationship, and Jeff helped Tom in many ways during the past few years.
He was preceded in death by his parents Milton and Oral Miles, brother Ralph Albert Miles and sister Marie Miles Hamilton. He leaves behind his sisters Kathryn Miles Bair and Joan Miles Roach and his son Thomas Jeffrey Miles.
We would especially like to thank family, neighbors, and friend Kim Bryan for the special care he was given in his final years.
The family will have a Memorial Service on Saturday, December 2nd at 2pm at the following location:
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Kearns 8th Ward “The Fox Hill Building”. It is located at 3750 West 6200 South, Kearns, UT.
Please use the north entrance and we will gather in the Cultural Hall.
