Thomas Jeffrey Miles
January 31,1979 - October 19, 2025
Born in Salt Lake City, Utah
Thomas Jeffrey Miles passed away at age 46 after a lengthy battle with colon cancer. He died at his home in Sandy, Utah surrounded by his family.
Jeffrey was a very loving son, brother, and uncle. He truly loved his sisters, Amanda and Lochie and he adored their children. He loved spending time with his niece, nephews, and extended family.
He loved hiking and being outdoors, and was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed reading the scriptures and discussing them with his family. He loved music. He enjoyed cooking. He excelled at making Alfredo pasta dishes and homemade cheesecake for his mother's birthday.
Jeffrey was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
He is survived by his mother, Kim Bryan; his two sisters, Amanda Reams and Lochie Bumgarner; one niece, Aree Reams; three nephews, Grayson Reams, Myles Reams (named after Jeffrey), and Brantley Bumgarner; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He had many lifelong friendships; dear friends who visited him throughout his
illness. Jeffrey will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Charles Miles. Jeffrey helped care for Tom during the last few years of his life.
