Thomas "Tom" W. Johnson's Obituary
Tom passed away peacefully with his family by his side. He had suffered from illness for a few years. Tom married the love of his life Zandra Wonnacott on July 26, 1969, they had two sons; Jeromiah (JJ) & Joshua. Tom spent most of his life driving a cement truck or behind the wheel of an 18-wheeler traveling the United States, taking his wife and boys whenever possible. He loved spending time with his wife and boys; camping, shooting, building models, helping his boys work on their cars or 4-wheel drives and he loved to BBQ. He was very inventive and great with ideas; he loved to tinker with anything that was broken and make it work. In the winter you could find him plowing everyone’s sidewalks and driveways with his four-wheeler; sometimes gone for hours at a time. Tom is survived by his wife Zandra, Sons Jeromiah (Maria) and Joshua, his Grandson Kade, Brother Bob and Sister Carol as well as his Mother-in-law Virginia and many in-laws, Nephews & Nieces. He is preceded in death by his Father Thomas, Mother Eleanor, Brother Mike, Father-In-Law Earl, Brother-in-Law Jim, and Niece Heather. He was very loved and will be deeply missed. A private graveside service will be held at Camp Williams. All friends and family are welcome to come to a celebration of Tom’s life held on Friday Feb. 10th, from 6-8 p.m. at the LDS Church at 6400 W. 2700 S. in W.V.C.
