Tiffany Jean Hughes' Obituary
Our little sweetheart Tiffany Jean Hughes, age 39, passed away on January 26, 2026, in Layton, Utah, earning her butterfly wings while surrounded by love and held in the arms of the love of her life.
Tiffany was born in Ogden, Utah, along with her twin sister Tasha. She grew up in the Clinton and West Haven areas of Utah and graduated from Fremont High School in Plain City, Utah. She married Eric Jensen and later divorced. Born with congenital heart disease, she faced life with strength, grace, and determination, choosing to live as normally and fully as she could. Her condition shaped her journey, but it never dimmed her beautiful spirit.
Art was one of Tiffany’s greatest joys. She was deeply creative and expressed herself through painting and other forms of art. She loved learning, reading, music, and spending time in nature. Butterflies held special meaning for her, and she found peace outdoors -especially hiking with her nieces and nephews, whom she adored.
Tiffany loved animals deeply, and her dog Milo held a very special place in her heart. She valued wellness, kindness, gardening, the countryside, and the quiet beauty of the natural world. She had a rare ability to make people feel seen and loved simply by being herself. Tiffany had a gentle soul and a contagious laugh that brought joy to those around her. She was wanderlust-filled and adventurous, stubborn in the ways that mattered, deeply empathetic, fiercely loyal, creative, loving, thoughtful, patient, and caring. She had a big heart and cared little for money or material things. What mattered to her were love, kindness, and meaningful connection.
Tiffany shared a profound and devoted partnership with her fiancé where they built a life together rooted in authenticity, mutual growth, and unwavering love. They were each other’s safest place - always saying “I love you,” always blowing kisses as their cherished inside joke, always dreaming together, especially of traveling to another country one day. She made him a better person, and he made her one too. She passed while being held, wrapped in love.
Tiffany will be remembered for her beautiful spirit, her creativity, her kindness, and the way she loved so fully and unconditionally. Her light lives on in every life she touched. Tiffany was preceded in death by her grandparents Lorriane and Neva Hughes, Lyle and Rhea Nielson, Mark and Bobbie Lindsay and her stepmom, Mary Irene Nielsen Hughes. She is survived by her fiancé, Rhett Facer, her parents, Bill Hughes and Linda and stepfather Don Lindsay, her twin sister, Tasha Lynn Hughes Huffman, her older sister, Misti Rae Sessions, her older brother Chad Hughes, her niece, Shaylee Linda Sessions, and nephews Cadin Lyle Sessions, Paxton D Hughes and Tristan John Glendenning; and many friends who were touched by her warmth, compassion, and light.
Viewing and funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Premier Funeral Services in Roy, Utah.
