TImothy Curtis Coda's Obituary
Timothy Curtis Coda passed away on August 25, 2023. He was born December 9, 1969. Tim is preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. Coda, MD and Susan W. Coda. He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Christy L. Coda; son, Robert J. Coda; and siblings Susan C. Grube (Craig), Catherine A. Coda (Charlotte), and Anthony (Tony) R. Coda (Emily).
Tim graduated from East High School in 1988 where he was a member of the varsity swim team. At Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, Tim was a member of the TKE Fraternity. After graduation from Drake, Tim returned to Salt Lake City, Utah where he pursued a career in Information Technology, primarily in the automotive industry. Tim was an avid and expert skier who could frequently be found at his favorite Alta and Park City ski resorts. He was also dedicated to raising awareness for celiac disease and expanding the availability of gluten free food.
An open house celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, from 10:00am until 12noon at Premier Funeral Services, located at 67 East 8000 South, Midvale, Utah 84047. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Gluten Intolerance Group (GIG).
