Timothy John Davis' Obituary
Our Dear Friend, Brother, Father, Confidant, Healer and Hero,
You have passed on from this world into another, and, my dear, you shall be sorely missed.
You hung around the periphery of life, swooping in as you saw the need of others, never counting the costs. The distance you kept around you, to preserve your life would allow you to continue here on earth to finish your mission of love.
You taught us to see beyond the physical, and to learn what truly matters. Time and earthly concerns are yours no longer. We send you to fertile fields, verdant meadows, and all of the beauty and love we send you that you can possibly hold.
To a life that cannot possibly be measured in earthly terms, it is an immeasurable gift you leave with us.
You came into this world on January 31st, 1976 and left on February 25th, 2023. Your life has been one of many challenges. As a newborn, you were already sensitive to the substances that most people used to sustain them, being allergic to mothers milk. As a baby, mom had to use cantaloupe juice to feed you, and as you grew a little older, cantaloupe smoothies. You were so energetic and funny Your impish smile and self determination kept things very lively at home, for as long as you chose to grace us with your presence.
As a toddler, we remember your funny pronunciation of the word “pockets” which became “pocket-tusses,” which can still cause giggles.
There were periods that became quite challenging for you, and the struggles and trials were
Intense. Because of your sensitivities and inherited dispositions, and the will of the creator, you were to experience many difficult things that culminated in jail time that nearly cost you your life and a trip to a wilderness program that took a toll on your health, but through which you found a connection to yourself and developed a beautiful grace and acceptance of life. It was these very trials that allowed you to become the main support of your elderly parents as they aged into a time of less ability to care for themselves and their home.
You grew as a person in so many ways. You overcame your fear of driving and the world in general, from an earlier traumatic experience, in order to shop, do errands and take mom places when she was no longer able to drive. Know that there was no one that could have performed this role better than you did. There was no one who could have made the food they needed better. No one could have given the close and tender care that you gave. You gave your all, and there was perfection, magic and beauty in that.
Thank you for your forgiveness when we did not understand, and judged you, and for teaching us how to forgive ourselves. Thank you for making us more open, more aware, and more accepting of ourselves and others.
There are countless instances of your gifts of healing foods and herbs that have blessed so many people around you. Your example and perseverance to heal yourself and others has blessed many.
To the magic being known as Timothy Davis, who is able to pet bees, calm the most agitated and traumatized animals, and attract basically all of the injured and broken with your calm love and acceptance. To the exceptional being who could smell chemicals from a mile away on a carrot and find the safest healthiest produce simply by smell. To the perfect energetic being who we were blessed to have this mortal experience with, we await the day when we shall see you again.
May the spirit of Timothy Davis live forever among us as a warrior of peace in this world, now without his bright light.
Timothy Davis is survived by his son Emilio Perez, grandson Emilio Perez Jr, and favorite person on the planet Holly Wellings, and brothers and sisters: Feliza Castor, Julie Davis, Carol Davis, Dawn Noble, Thomas Davis, Daniel Davis, Jennifer Young, and Andrew Davis.
