Tony Thompson Hatch's Obituary
The world has lost its greatest mechanic.
Tony Thompson Hatch, age 54, passed away on May 13, 2021, surrounded by his family. He fought a valiant 3-year battle with cancer, and he is now free from pain. He is joyfully reunited with his dog Roxy who he dearly missed. He will be incredibly missed by all. He was always a beacon of laughter and adventure.
Tony was the go-to man for all issues mechanical and he spent his career working as the world's greatest mechanic. He had a passion for fishing, building and flying remote-controlled airplanes, and the night sky. His favorite place to be was the Green River in Dutch John, Utah. Most of all Tony cared deeply for his family and had close relationships with his children and each of his nieces and nephews.
He is loved and survived by his parents: Steven and Darla; his sisters: Janeal and Shawna (Brian Parkinson); his children: Steven, Matthew (Crystal), and Rikki (Justin Parker); and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
The family would like to thank McKay-Dee Cancer Center and Everest Hospice for taking such great care of our loved one.
In lieu of flower donations, the family asks you to schedule your cancer screenings.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 22nd at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel at: 4630 W 2125 N, Plain City, UT 84404. Viewing to be held at the same location on Friday, May 21st from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 22nd from 10:00-10:45 a.m. (preceding the funeral services). Interment following the funeral services at 3 p.m. at the Oxford Cemetery (Idaho).
