Tonya Marie Angers passed from this life into the arms of her Savior on September 7, 2023 surrounded by her family.
Tonya was born to Shirley and Stanley Parker in Coldwater, MI on May 22, 1955. She grew up in Coldwater and moved to Union City, MI where she graduated from high school in 1974.
Tonya was a loving and giving mother to her four children: Brian Little of Union City, MI, Brandy Little of Kalamazoo, MI, Tyler Little of Kalamazoo, MI and Mary (Archie) Mears of Union City, MI. Her grandsons were her pride and joy: Brayton Mears, Logan Mears and Dawson Mears all of Union City, MI.
Tonya married Lee Angers, her loving husband, in 2008 in Ogden, UT where they continued to reside.
Tonya was a truly devoted homemaker She was an artisan and entrepreneur. She enjoyed refinishing antique furniture, oil painting, working in glass, and was a master interior decorator and landscaper.
She is survived by her husband, her children and grandchildren; her sister Judy (Reg) Sipes of Indianapolis, sisters in law, Brenda Parker of Coldwater, MI, Susan Strupulis, of Union City, MI, Liana Thomas of Meriden, CT, Leda St. Pierre of New Britain, CT, brothers in law, Lou Angers of Sandia, TX, and Marcel Angers of Wethersfield, CT and her pets Bella, Louie and Izzy.
Preceding her in death are her parents, her brother Kim Parker and sister Sandy Sherrick.
Tonya was a lover of animals and rescued several. Memorial contributions may be made to your local animal rescue.
