Tracey D.'s Obituary
Tracey D. Christensen, 66, passed away on April 20, 2026 at home, surrounded by his loved ones.
Born on November 27, 1959, in Salt Lake City, Utah to DeeRees and Karolyn Christensen, the oldest of three children. He had a successful career in kitchen equipment and restaurant supply sales. He married Terry Jones on February 9, 1981; they had three children together.
Tracey loved and would do anything for his family. He was always quick to lend a helping hand or step in to fix something that was broken. He was known for his love of the outdoors and was happiest when he was out camping, hunting and fishing. His passion for hunting led to the ownership of several very loyal hunting companion dogs.
He is survived by his children, Debanae Christensen (Michael Goode), Travis Christensen (Stephanie Christensen), Danielle Edelson (Noah Edelson); and their mother Terry Clement; his grandchildren, Emma, Cooper, Oliver, Brynn, Kai and Eli. He is also survived by his mother, Karolyn Christensen, sisters Cindy Mogensen and Laurie Badgett; and girlfriend, Suzanne Oleson. He was preceded in death by his father, DeeRees Christensen.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses at Canyon Home Care and Hospice for their care and support. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Tracey was an ornery, stubborn man but he was our ornery man. His bark was always bigger than his bite and he will be deeply missed.
