Tracey Sue Elmore's Obituary
What can be said about a woman, a mother, a sister, a daughter, and a friend who lived her life with a sincere compassion for people and animals?!
Tracey Sue Elmore, also known as Tracey Allen/Timas, born November 8, 1960, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 27th, 2021, in the comfort of her home.
Gone too soon; questions fill our minds yet knowing God’s timing is never too soon and never too late. If our lives were summarized into one word, besides love, Tracey’s was thoughtfulness. She was amazing with her words and how she expressed the way she felt. Every birthday card, unique gift, and kind word encapsulated her heart. She lived for those moments as she gave you a card, waiting in anticipation as your eyes take in every thought-out word from her, she would smile because now you knew what you meant to her. She was beautiful in who God made her to be.
She was a proud mom of her only child, Amy Melissa Brown. One of Tracey’s greatest joys in life was working as Amy and her son-in law Bobby’s personal assistant. She loved her work because she knew she was helping families become more financially secure and she loved making a difference. While the pandemic adjusted life for most people, it was a great blessing for Tracey, Amy, and Bobby, because it allowed them to spend more quality time together. They were able to share more precious time together this last year compared to almost the previous decade combined, which was such a sweet gift from God!
Tracey really loved Elvis, Tweety Bird, and her dear loving, affectionate companion her cat Slinky. She loved having fun by playing games, especially Yahtzee, Blackjack, and Spoons. In the game of spoons, everyone knew to keep their eye on Tracey because she was quick and competitive. Who knows, you quite possibly might lose a finger or end up with some scratches.
Tracey was terrified of water, so what a blessing it was she was able to go on her first cruise the beginning of 2020, before the pandemic hit, with so many of her friends. She was also able to enjoy a short trip in the harbor of Cabo in a small boat, which was monumental as she was able to face her fears! Amy introduced her to eating Pho for the first time and she liked it. For those who know Tracey, and how picky she was, they know how shocking that really was.
Tracey is survived by her daughter Amy Brown and son-in-law Bobby Brown, her sisters Vickie Sanders and Judy Allen, her brother Lee Allen, her nephew Clay Sanders, and her life companion Slinky.
Funeral services will be from 6-7pm and an open house from 7-8pm on Wednesday, July 7th at Roy Christian Church, 4347 S 1900 W, Roy, UT.
