Traevon James Silver's Obituary
Traevon James Silver, age 20, died of cardiac arrest due to asthma on May 8th, 2024, in West Jordan Utah, surrounded by family and loved ones. He was born on February 17, 2004 in West Jordan, Utah to Tiffany Silver. Traevon loved spending the majority of his time outside. His favorite hobbies included; spending time with his dog Apollo, fishing, hunting, camping, BMX racing, playing video games, playing baseball for many years, even into High School. Traevon was always willing to learn and experience new things.He was always able to complete anything he set his mind to. Traevon had a heart of pure kindness and always involved everyone, he never wanted anyone to feel left out. Traevon was always willing to help someone in need, he would have given the shirt off his back.He loved giving back to his community and helping the elderly. A large part of his life was spent with family. Traevon had a special place for all of his cousins: Kylie, Easton, Landon, Skylar and Stella. He loved spending time with them and was excited to play and interact with them. His cousins looked up to him so much and will miss him dearly. Traevon was loved by everyone that he knew.
Traevon is survived by his parents Tiffany and Josh Long, his sister Kalena; Great Grandparents Blaine (Buddy) and Kathy (Grannie) Moll, James R. Silver (Roy); Grandparents Todd Silver and Melissa Lopez; Aunts and Uncles, Chantz (Dallas) Silver, Sierra Silver, Jonah (Lisa) Long.
He was preceded in death by his Great Grandma, Sharon Silver and Grandma (Nana), Kim Silver.
We would like to thank the ICU staff at Holy Cross Hospital in West Jordan, a special thank you to Andrea (ER Nurse), Aubrie W. ( ICU Nurse) for the extra care they provided to Our Son and family during such a difficult time.
We will be having a Memorial Service for Traevon Silver on June 22nd, 2024.
