Travis Ladale Taylor, Age 48 from Orem, Utah passed away in his home March 1st, 2026. He was born September 4th, 1977 in Caldwell, Idaho. Son to Jay Taylor and Koleen Bishop.
His memory lives on by his two children Hailey Marie Taylor and Raygen Jay Taylor, parents Jay Taylor and Kolleen Bishop along with his siblings Trudy Jensen, Jayson Taylor, Tempy McBride, Toby Taylor, Terrance Taylor, Jayme Taylor, his step brothers Bradley Lockhart, Joey Lockhart, Cory Lockhart and his grandfather Glendon Taylor
Travis was an amazing father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was loved by his friends and respected by his family. He was a HUGE extrovert and every person he talked to he made friends with. Travis loved to help people when he had the materials needed. Travis was a man who wore his heart on his sleeve and a man who will be missed among many. He was a lifelong kid at heart and was always teasing someone about something just to get a laugh. He was the first to start the water fights and the first one to throw you in the pool. Joking was his love language. If he wasn't joking with you, you knew he didn't like you. He was an angel with a little sprinkle of hell raising sent from above. He also prided himself in teaching his children how to be respectable people.
Travis taught his kids how to camp, fish, shoot and most importantly how to live in the present moment always (that's where the best memories come from). Travis may be gone but he will always be with us in our hearts and in spirit.
His celebration of life will be held on Saturday April 11th, 2026 from noon to 3Pm at Genola Park on the south side, 74 W 800 S Genola, Utah. We will be reminiscing our memories we have with Travis. He wanted us to send him off knowing he was loved even in death so please bring your best memories with you. We will also be doing a potluck so please bring a dish, dessert or drink Travis liked (also a cooler and bag of ice for drinks). We will have pictures set up of all the memories he had with everyone so we may reminisce and cherish the time we had with him. Travis may not be in this world anymore but he left lessons and love. He is with the friends he lost and the family he longed to meet again. Rest in peace Travis Ladale Taylor. your light was one that burned bright and will guide everyone of us through the world even through your memory.
