Trenten William Eckhardt's Obituary
Trenten William Eckhardt, 17, died unexpectedly July 2nd in Orem, Utah. Trent was born November 15, 2001 in Richland, Washington to David Phillip Eckhardt and Sally Kate Welch Eckhardt.
Trent was a social butterfly and made friends easily wherever he went. He was a talented athlete and enjoyed all types of sports playing softball, baseball, basketball, and football. He especially loved skateboarding and spent many hours at various skateparks and participated in competitions. He attended schools in Connell, Washington; Orem, Utah; and Maple Valley, Washington.
He is survived by his mother, Sally Kate Lacayo; his brothers, Tyler Jakob Eckhardt and Connor Ethan Eckhardt; stepbrother, Alberto Lacayo; stepsisters Karina Lacayo and Miliany Lacayo; step-niece, Elizabeth Octavia Lacayo; maternal grandfather, Lon Sidney Welch; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Trent was preceded in death by his father, David Eckhardt; stepfather, Octavio Lacayo; paternal grandparents, David and Jan Eckhardt; and maternal grandmother, JoAnn Leseberg Welch.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 6th, 2019 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 140 North 400 West, Orem, Utah.
