Trudy Marie Gibbs' Obituary
Trudy Marie Gibbs, 79, of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026, surrounded by her three daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Trudy was brought into this world by Marie and Gregory Aller at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Trudy loved nature and hiking, and she was always the first one up the trail. She traveled to many beautiful places, including Ireland, Holland, the Netherlands, and many others. She loved music and was always the life of the party. With a smile that could light up any room, she loved her family and friends deeply. She was truly unlike anyone else—the most giving, understanding, and loving person, who never judged anyone’s life or opinions.
Trudy is survived by her daughters, Tiffany Tucker, Danielle Searle, and Nikki Tucker; her grandchildren, David Eley, Daniel Eley, Stevie Slama, Jacob Searle, Haley Merrill, Brendon Tucker, Nathan Danielson, Desire Tucker, and Jordan Flores; and many beloved great-grandchildren.
Service Information
Her services will be held on June 15th at Washington Park in Parley's Canyon, from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Please Note:
No animals are allowed at the park.
There will be a fire pit, but please plan for cooler weather.
We will be holding a potluck; please bring a side dish and your own drinks/water. Meat will be provided.
If you are able to bring firewood, it would be greatly appreciated.
An open mic will be held after the services conclude.
Directions to Washington Park: Take I-80 East to Exit 134, then take the frontage road. Go past the golf course and past the first pavilion; the service will be held at the second pavilion. Rsvp with Stevie Slama @435-237-9909
