Tyler Scott Hicks' Obituary
Tyler Scott Hicks returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, December 21st, 2017.
He was born on April 8th, 1986 to Scott and Nancy Hicks. He was the oldest of five children.
Tyler was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed doing everything outside. Fishing, camping, riding ATVs, shooting guns and simply sitting by a campfire. But, his greatest passion was fishing.
Tyler had a way of making people happy and laugh. He was always willing to help anyone with pretty much anything. He always had a listening ear to many of his friends, he would call it a Dr. Phil session. He was the most nonjudgmental and accepting of other people. He loved everyone.
Tyler leaves behind his son, Jayden Hicks, his parents, his grandma, Carol Woodruff Hicks, his siblings, Travis and Natasha Hicks of West Valley City, UT, Joshua and Adele Hicks of Blackfoot, ID, Carli and RJ Casey of Sandy, UT, Spencer Hicks and Riley Davis of West Jordan, UT, 4 nephews and 4 nieces. Numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
He is preceded in death by his grandpa H. Lamar Hicks, grandpa John Clayton Petty, grandma Kathleen Kaye Baker Petty and uncle Dale Hicks.
Come celebrate his life with us on Thursday, December 28th, 2017 at the Meadowland LDS Ward 6695s. 2200w. West Jordan, UT. Funeral at 1:00pm, viewing prior to service 12:00pm to 12:45pm. Internment Draper City Cemetery.
